I have various skills, including web design and development, software development, and Microsoft Office applications, where I can help with complex formatting, proofreading and copy-editing. Databases and general data management are a particular speciality, and I have a lot of experience of both building databases and redesigning existing ones.

Most of my skills are self-taught, and much of what I learn comes from searching online. Sometimes I find a single page that answers my question, other times I have to read several forum or blog posts, and piece bits together. I intend to post useful code snippets, and solutions to particularly tricky problems, on my blog.
